Confidence & Business Performance

“The reason why I wanted to try hypnotherapy was because I wanted to make money as an entrepreneur. Part of doing this meant that I needed to go out and talk to people and make phone calls and do a lot of other things that required me to be in front of people. The only problem with that is that I was extremely introverted even to the point where I would be anxious whenever I would have to speak to somebody which made my work really hard. I thought that hypnotherapy would be able to help me overcome this problem.

Before I started the hypnotherapy, I was very nervous to talk to people and I would procrastinate and make excuses for myself in order to avoid it. I had a lot of self doubt and negative inner speech that crippled my ability to do what needed to be done. I knew I had to change something.

Working with hypnotherapy was a very new experience for me. For starters, talking about my feelings was not something I was accustomed to so I had to get past that first. Working with you as a therapist helped me to get past that. You were very understanding and non judgmental which made me more comfortable to share. The hypnosis sessions were pretty hard for me to get through because I was bringing up a lot of emotions and at times did not want to continue. You helped me get through it by staying calm and consistent. Your voice of encouragement to continue was what pushed me to finish the session which was crucial in order for it to work. Overall, it was a good experience with a good therapist.

Through the process, I have found a new way of dealing with negative thoughts and emotions. Through affirmations and meditation I have learned to have better control over my thoughts and feelings empowering me to go out and talk to people and get as much work done as possible, using my time more wisely.

Now I have a daily routine that I keep to the best of my ability. Before I would just sort of wander through my day just going with the flow. Although work schedules change and emergencies happen, I am able to adjust as necessary while continuing to stay on a schedule. Another major difference is that I no longer wake up anxious or afraid of what the day will bring. I am more hopeful and ready to get going.  I feel more confident when I go out and talk to people, instead of being anxious, I feel more excited to share my business and to just communicate with others in general. I can use the tools that I learned through hypnotherapy and the work. If I start to feel nervous or like I don't want to do something, I use the technique I practice in meditation to acknowledge the feeling and allow it to pass. I sometimes then remind myself of my affirmation to add a little boost of confidence. The work continues every day and with each encounter, I get a little better.

There is a lot more possible for me now that I have the confidence to move forward. I was holding myself back, talking myself out of what I knew I needed to do. Now, instead, I talk myself into doing things I would have normally run from such as walking into an office building and looking for owners to talk to. All the doors are open and now I can walk through them.

I would advise anybody who is thinking about hypnotherapy to open themselves up and allow you to do your part. They must also be ready to do their part. The work is just as important as the hypnosis. It's not easy, but it is necessary for change.

I enjoyed working with you and am grateful for the work that you put in to help me. I would recommend working with you to anybody who is interested in hypnotherapy."
